I'm measuring!

A set of measuring units designed to accompany measurement activities in a concrete and playful way. These acrylics allow children to manipulate, count, and compare using a non-standard unit. By placing them to measure different elements, they develop their understanding of quantities, magnitudes, and comparisons. Available in different themes, these units make the activity even more engaging while maintaining the same educational objectives.

How to use in class or at home
The child uses the units to measure the length or height of an item. They count the number of units used and compare the results. They can manipulate the pieces, align them, and explore different ways to measure. The units can be used alone or combined with the "I Measure!" board.

Understand the concept of measurement, develop number sense, compare magnitudes (larger, smaller, equal), stimulate observation and logic, promote fine motor skills, encourage autonomy.
