Power (Acrylics)

A set of acrylic pieces that invites discovery, classification, and understanding of different food groups.

These acrylics allow children to explore food in a concrete way through manipulation and observation. By manipulating the foods, they develop their vocabulary and better understand food categories.

The sets are designed to be used alone or combined with different educational trays to vary activities.

How to use acrylics in the classroom or at home
Children observe and name the foods.

They can then classify them by category (fruits, vegetables, proteins, grains, etc.).

They can associate foods with images, describe them, or explain their role in nutrition.

The acrylics can also be used in free play to create meals and invent everyday situations.
