I'm discovering emotions

An educational board that encourages recognizing, understanding, and expressing emotions through play, manipulation, and creation.

Through this activity, the child chooses an emotion, reconstructs the corresponding image as a puzzle, and then is prompted to reflect on what they are feeling. They can then draw and write to express their experience in a concrete and age-appropriate way.

This approach helps develop emotional intelligence while supporting emergent language and writing skills.

How to use in class or at home
The child chooses an emotion using the cards and observes the associated image.

They assemble the pieces to reconstruct the puzzle.

Once completed, they draw what makes them feel that emotion.

They can also write the word using the acrylic letters or with a dry-erase marker on the designated surfaces.

The activity can be used in a guided or autonomous way.
